Welcome to KE!
My teaching philosophy
is that every child is unique, and my job as a teacher is to make sure that
your child realizes his/her individuality and encourage them, as well as provide
the guidance to maximize it.
This is my third year
teaching, but I had previously tutored, substituted and done my student
teaching here at Kohlberg. So I am
familiar with many of our students. I am anticipating a wonderful year with my new group of students!
I am originally from
Palestine, but I was born and raised in Kuwait. I got married and came to the USA in 1993; it has become my home. I have
two children. My son Najib is a junior at UTEP, studying to be a nurse
practitioner. My Daughter Seham is a freshman at UTEP, planning to be a pediatrician.
I am a learner myself
as I always love to research things that I am interested in. I enjoy walking in
the afternoons. I also love reading non-fiction, mystery and poetry books. One of my
favorite hobbies as a child was drawing. I had a lot of sketch books of cartoon
characters such as the Smurfs and Thunder Cats…
Collaboration, cooperation, and open communication between
home and school are keys to building a strong foundation for a successful
school year. Please feel free to contact me at any time. My conference period is 1:00-1:45
